F2500 battery energy storage system

The F2500 is a 540 volt, 500 kilowatt-hour, thermal-controlled battery energy storage system that’s easily transported and delivered on the back of a trailer and plugged directly into a substation.

The turn-key F2500 is fully grid-interactive and it includes a cooling system and an inverter to convert alternating and direct currents. It’s quiet and it has no fuel-handling, fuel-scheduling, or air permitting requirements. It operates at ambient temperature.

A fully containerized F2500 typically includes 10 battery modules, which each store 50 kilowatt hours of electricity. Each of the 4 foot wide, 4 foot long and 6½ foot high modules includes three cell stacks, and it can store enough energy to power a house for three or four days. Customers can use fewer than 10 modules, and they can add extra modules and F2500 units as their needs change.
