CEO, President and Director |
Eric Apfelbach is President and CEO of ZBB Energy Corporation. He became the company’s CEO and joined the Board of Directors on January 7, 2010. In his role he's focused on setting strategy, raising capital and forming strategic partnerships to drive the company's growth. Under Mr. Apfelbach’s guidance, ZBB is delivering innovative, energy storage and power control technologies that optimizes the use of renewable and other energy sources. Prior to joining ZBB, was involved in the start-up of multiple technology companies. As President and founding CEO of Virent Energy Systems, Inc, he grew the company to over 80 people and attracted strategic partners Shell, Cargill and Honda to position the company as one of the top advanced biofuels companies in the world. Before Virent, Mr. Apfelbach co-founded Alfalight, Inc., where, as President and CEO, he helped grow the high power diode laser company to 85 employees in two years and led the company through multiple financings. Prior to Alfalight, Mr. Apfelbach was Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Planar Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLNR), and held operating responsibility for the LCD division. He began his career working as an engineer in the semiconductor industry, rising to senior management at Applied Materials, one of the world’s largest semiconductor equipment companies. Mr. Apfelbach received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1984. He is a director of Xolve, Inc. and National Electrostatics Corporation (NEC). In 2006, he was elected to the Board of the Wisconsin Technology Council. |

Executive Vice President, Global Business Development |
Dan Nordloh is Executive Vice President of Global Business Development for ZBB Energy Corporation. In his role he is responsible for the evolution and execution of ZBB’s global growth strategy, and serves a very active role on the Board of Directors of Anhui Meineng, ZBB’s joint venture company in China. Additionally, he will lead all initiatives to enter emerging foreign markets and identify and align with prospective strategic partners offering complementary capabilities and resources. Mr. Nordloh joined ZBB in June of 2010 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing before being appointed to Executive VP. Prior to joining ZBB, Mr. Nordloh has held comprehensive leadership roles, primarily in IT and polymer technologies businesses, developing and executing rapid growth, turn-around and succession initiatives. Mr. Nordloh has led domestic and international growth of publicly and privately held companies via organic, M&A and partner strategies, and has coached early-stage companies in business planning and fund raising. Mr. Nordloh holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a BS degree from Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to serving on the board of Anhui Meineng in China, Mr. Nordloh presently serves on the Board of Directors of Standard Imaging, Inc., in Madison, WI, a closely held medical engineering and manufacturing company specializing in radiation dosing technologies. Mr. Nordloh is the past President of the Board for the not-for-profit Family Support & Resource Center, a Madison, WI based organization providing in-home and community support to families in Dane County (WI) who are raising children with significant disabilities at home. |

Chief Operating Officer |
Charles (Chuck) Stankiewicz is Executive Vice President of Operations. He joined the company and was appointed to the Board of Directors on November 9, 2011. In his role he assumes full responsibility for all operations and engineering including manufacturing, research and development, and product development. Previously Mr. Stankiewicz held a number of executive level positions at American Superconductor Corporation. He was most recently Executive Vice President of AMSC Power Systems, a division of American Superconductor Corp., based in Middleton and New Berlin, Wisconsin with operations in Europe and China. During his tenure at American Superconductor, he grew the Power Systems group from virtually no revenue to several hundred million in revenues, contributing the majority of American Superconductor’s revenues and earnings over the past few years. Prior to working at American Superconductor, Mr. Stankiewicz worked in a variety of technical and business management positions at Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) where he was the Vice President of Power Development. Mr. Stankiewicz graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. |

Vice President of Sales and Marketing |
Tony Siebert joined the Company as Vice President, Sales and Product Marketing in August 2012. Mr. Siebert has more than 20 years of experience in sales and engineering in the utility and industrial industries. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Siebert held several position at American Superconductor Corporation (Nasdaq: AMSC), an electricity solutions company, from 2004 till August 2012, including Managing Director of Grid Sales. From 1990 to 2004, Mr. Siebert held several engineering and sales positions with ABB (NYSE:ABB), a power and automation technologies company. Mr. Siebert holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering and is a member of the IEEE (Power Electronics Group) and CIGRE. |

Chief Financial Officer |
Will Hogoboom is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Secretary for ZBB Energy Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for leading the finance function for the Company and its subsidiaries, including SEC compliance, SOX compliance, accounting and financial reporting, tax, treasury, and investor relations. Mr. Hogoboom joined ZBB in September 2009 and was appointed to the position of Controller of the Company in March 2010 before being appointed to CFO in November 2010. Prior to ZBB, he was CFO of Superconductivity, Inc. and the Wisconsin division of American Superconductor Corporation. From June 2001 to September 2009 he was the CFO for several privately held high-technology companies including Imago Scientific Instruments Corp. and Spectrocon International LLC, both in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition Mr. Hogoboom was formerly audit partner at Smith & Gesteland, LLP from 1996 to 2001 and audit manager at Ernst & Young from 1979 to 1996. Mr. Hogoboom holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA). |

Vice President of Engineering & Product Development |
Kevin Dennis is Vice President of Engineering and Product Development for ZBB Energy. Mr. Dennis joined the company in January of 2008 as Vice President of Marketing and Sales and was promoted to the position of Vice President of Engineering and Product Development in 2010. In his present role he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s system engineering and final product development activities and engineering operations. He was a key person in developing and patenting the Enersection concept and realizing the final product platform. He also oversaw the new V3 battery module engineering team. Mr. Dennis has extensive expertise in the utility and renewable energy markets worldwide having held various senior management roles with ABB, most recently as Director, Advanced Power Electronics – North America. Mr. Dennis also spent four years as both the sales and engineering manager for Omnion Power Engineering Corporation, a manufacturer of power electronics systems for advanced energy systems. His early career includes five years as a design engineer with American Electric Power Service Corporation (AEP) in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Dennis holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a registered professional engineer in the States of Wisconsin and California. He is a member of the IEEE (Power Electronics Group). He participated as an industry representative in the working group for the development of Underwriters Laboratory standard, UL 1741, for utility grid connected power converters. Mr. Dennis participates in various renewable energy and energy storage organizations. |

Chief Technology Officer, President of Tier Electronics and Director |
Jeff Reichard is Chief Technology Officer, President of Tier Electronics and Director. Mr. Reichard joined the company and was appointed to the Board of Directors on January 24, 2011. In his role, he is responsible for the development of ZBB's power electronics products and designs. Mr. Reichard founded Tier Electronics, LLC in June of 2003 and serves as the President. Tier Electronics specializes in power converters and conversion systems for alternative energy and power quality applications and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of ZBB Energy Corporation. From June 2000 to June 2002, Mr. Reichard served as Vice President of R&D at American Superconductor (AMSC), a leader in renewable energy, providing proven, megawatt-scale wind turbine designs and electrical control systems. Mr. Reichard founded Integrated Electronics in March 1996, and rapidly grew the company by developing products at the leading edge of innovation, and offered significant price and performance advantages. Acquired by American Superconductor in 2000, Integrated Electronics developed the converter that became the standard for AMSC's power quality products. Mr. Reichard holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. |
